Yes, last year we averaged one waiver claim a week. I spot checked about a dozen waiver reports, and only saw 1 instance where there were multiple claims on a guy.
Very rare a player on waivers is desirable. The most desirable adds (and the ones that generate the most league chatter) happen at nights IRT. When a guy gets hurt in this league, the potential value guy is added within seconds b/c there's little risk. FAAB makes it more strategic.
When we don't have deep enough roster spots to "handcuff" players, that owner should get the opportunity to spend FAAB in case of injury.

Can you do the thing where you end the draft and put everyone on waivers?

Wiseguy only had 17 players. I remember him saying he picked up Kobe as a placeholder but Kobe isn't in the pool so I added Kevin Garnett.

He picked him up as a placeholder for teodosic, and then traded him for Booms (Toula) 1st.
