I think it needs to be a few weeks before the playoffs for trades.

If playoffs start week 14, then I would suggest week 12 or 11. Dec 4th is the start of week 14(playoffs).

All good.

That way teams fighting for a playoff spot can try to pull off a trade to help them the last 2-3 weeks, but we won't have any type of worries about teams trading directly prior to the playoffs.
