What about using points for week 18 performance for involved players to get final score?

Another possible solution, but if the nfl comes out and says “we aren’t playing the game and we’ll go by win %” and the chiefs win Saturday, very good chance the bills sit their starters. Do you allow them to pick up another qb to play in Allen’s spot?

Calling it a tie (I doubt they do this) would be even worse as both teams may sit their starters.

This is what we’re doing. Guy is down 43 with only Burrow left. It’s unlikely but he did put up 42 one week in our league. It’s easy enough to calculate one guy by hand.

How to determine fantasy football championship:

1. Chill and see if CIN-BUF is restarted after Week 18. If so, count those points
2. No game: 90%+ expected win percentage = winner is new champion and gets all $
3. No game: 11-89% = split of $
4. No game: 50% = real life fight

just playing devil's advocate here....take away that this is championship week.

What would you do if this was say....week 5?
Probably just score it as is. As if those players were out with injury. I think that's what yahoo would default to but i'm not positive

Yep. That's why I'm letting it fall onto the shoulders of Goodell and Co.

But it’s not.

Week 5 injury is nowhere close to championship week with an unprecedented event.

Are you commissioner? You can’t come to a conclusion with the two teams in question?

At that point the guy with Allen just needs to take his L. He struck out twice.

So what if a team was not in the lead yet but had 2 players left and a projected 86% win % and opponent had no more players? That's the position I'm in. Feels like getting robbed if they cancel the game and the scores stand as is. But obviously opponent is gonna say they win cuz they were still in the lead when the game stopped. Seems like a sh!tty way to win/lose a fantasy title. Praying the game gets played.

Exact same here but with 90% projected chance to win. As it stands currently, commish decided if game isn’t played, other team wins. All other viable or fair options for settlement were rejected by other team.

Of course they were, haha. I wouldn't want to win like that, slightly surprised anyone would.

I am the commissioner.....and I'm also up in the championship game by 48 with him having Higgins and Buffalo's kicker. I'd much rather see the NFL pick this game back up and let the chips fall where they may. If his two players can make up those points, then good for him and he definitely deserves it.

And if our teams were reversed and I was down 48.....I know the other guy would feel cheated out with the commissioner trying to lobby for splitting the cash.

ETA: according to that payout calculator....I have a 97% chance of winning.

We’re seeing the true side of some people in this whole thing tbh. I’m happy to say all of my leagues thus far have been pretty graceful about it

Similar to me but technically I’m leading as of now. Was down 2 going into the match with Burrow and Higgins. I’m ahead now on ESPN but if they wipe it out and give me 0s I would lose.

Projections aren’t a very fair way to determine a winner. My game is a toss up but I have Knox and he has burrow/chase. I’m up 20. It could go either way.

Why would anyone make a decision now when the nfl itself hasn’t decided?
