Should I sit Chark and Fournette this week?

Our defense is nasty this year. I know Fournette will probably be shut down. And Minshew will probably be under pressure all game.

How on earth can people answer this without knowing their potential replacements?

Idk about Minshew but I’m starting DJ Chark the rest of the year no matter what.

Pretty sure QBs have put up decent numbers fantasy wise against the saints...

I'm starting Minshew on one team and Chark on another. Except for Prescott, QBs have done pretty well vs the Saints. WRs have had good to excellent games against them. Plus it's on the road.

Sure, sit Fournette for your other RBs, who must be Kamara, McCaffrey, Cook and Chubb. If those are your options, sit Fournette. If not, I'd fire him up.

What are your other options?

Not knowing your options yeah I'd consider benching Chark (I have Mike Evans and he was shut down). Start Fournette every week unless you're in an 8 team league and stacked at the position.

Minshew has been really consistent all season and his schedule is pretty easy. I think he should do fine this week. I picked him up in two leagues and will be starting him in both likely for the rest of the season.

I'm starting Chark in the leagues I have him in.

Saints run defense is stout, so I can understand wanting to sit Fournette, but he'll probably get a goalline score but not a lot of yards.

and then what happens when Lattimore shadows Westbrook and Chark goes off?

Looks like Lattimore will be mostly shadowing Chark, their WR1. Like he's done with Evans and Cooper the last two weeks.

Westbrook runs most of his routes from the slot, doubt Lattimore shadows him. But I agree, tough to bench Chark even if Lattimore follows him around

Latt gonna shadow Chark for sure. Chark will see ample targets of the downfield variety though

RE: LF saints haven’t allowed an 100 yard rusher since week 17 2017. Banking on receptions and GL looks possibly

Hopkins and Cooks worked Lattimore pretty good, I’m not ready to say he’s an unbeatable corner

Yeah they did though I think they were playing a lot of zone those first two games. Strictly shadow the last two I believe
