Johnson scored 3 minutes and 24 seconds into the game, now did kick off occur right at 7:25 or 7:30 like it normally does after the pregame, coin toss, etc?

The OP probably doesn't have the time down to the seconds. The points is the LM put the player in the lineup after he had already racked up 15 points. That's bullshite.

Money league? I'd be telling this bitch I want my money back now.

If the team manager getting CJ0K asked him to do it before the game started, then I don't see much of a problem with it. If that's not the case, then that's a huge abuse of power.

Nah either way that's bullshite. Congrats on the trade but you didn't get it through in time IMO

The whole trade and putting them in the starting lineup is not BS IMO. I am a commish in two leagues. If both guys call me at 7:15 and ask if they do a trade tonight, can i put them in the starting lineup if it doesn't make it in time and I say yes. It's done at that point. So whether CJ has two fumbles by that point or 2 tds, he is in considered in the starting lineup even if I'm a min or 2 late after the game has started.

The most important thing IMO is making sure everyone is treated fairly in the league and that whatever rules the league was started under are the rules that stay in place all year. If I do for one person, I will do it for the entire league.

But the trade was agreed to before the game started?

It's kind of a gray area. I'm sure the other teams were pushing for it to go through. I'd be pissed but I wouldn't take it personal.

Is your league for money? If that was pulled in our league it would be a huge deal. Not to mention the potential money at stake but he's clearly giving himself a major advantage over everyone else.

I could let it slide if everyone in the league was informed at 7:15 or whenever the trade was finalized via text or message on the league board. Otherwise, it would be an issue, especially after the commish already circumvented the rules in a previous year.

He said the trade was processed 8 min AFTER the game had started. CJ put up about 15pts early in that game. (Thursday Night)

no he didn't

Kickoff wasn't until about 7:30-7:35

The exact time isnt a big deal. The problem is everyone in the league knows that you have locked players once a game starts and you should do you trades accordingly so you would have access to them when game time rolls around.

Knowing very well that players lock during game time, the commish still pushes the trade through and then inserts the traded player in the starting lineup.

Thats a problem IMO.

If its a $$$ league im either not paying or asking for my $$ back. A commish shouldnt push anything through once the player is locked and he def shouldnt be altering rosters once the players are locked. Everyone knows when players are locked.

If the trade would of happened during the day or days before, I have no problem with a commish pushing the trade through so the guy can use that player. Hell I dont have a problem with the commish pushing the trade through once the game started. Still not the right thing to do, but it doesnt affect the matchup. But once its locked and the game has started the roster is set. Shouldnt of been able to edit the roster IMO.

Biggest thing for me is that the LM directly affected the outcome of a matchup by using his LM authority in a sketchy way. And thats BS.

If yall play with a commish that you can't trust, then you shouldn't be playing in that league. We don't have trade veto in my leagues. I approve every trade by myself. I have only had to reject one trade in 5 years and have never had complaints about my leagues. Yall just need to find better friends if they will cheat on stupid stuff like fantasy.

The bad thing in this specific situation is the only 2 guys who would know if he told the commish to put cj2k in before kickoff both benefit from him being in (if the op is right and the commish doesn't want him in the playoffs). The commish already proved he is shady last year by adding playoff teams. If the guy posted on the league message board to put cj2k in before the game started, I'd be fine with it. Having to trust the word of a shady commissioner, I'm not fine with. I definitely wouldn't have played after the adding teams thing though.
