Not at all. I want people to convince me why not. The drop off from MT to Kupp is much less than the drop off from RoJo to Singletary.

You shouldn’t do that trade any more than Clinton getting BJs from snitches in the Oval Office.

I would ask for CEH or Carson for MT.

Nah. I talk to this guy every week. I’ve been trying to unload MT (like most fantasy experts suggest) for one of his better guys but for a while. He’s the only one in the league who’s interested in MT. I was gonna get Swift but now that he’s dealing with a concussion I don’t want it.

In one game so far, he’s a safety blanket for Taysom’s throwing (dis)ability.

It's pretty simple. Thomas has been one of the best and most consistent players in fantasy since he came into the league. You said that's what you wanted. You're looking too much into the his 2 down games when he came back when he only had one full practice in those 2 weeks after not playing for 2 months.

The guy you're talking about trading for has not been all that consistent this season. Here is his game log...

The advice you're getting has nothing to do with being a Saints fan. Thomas' career speaks for itself.

That's all I've got. If that doesn't convince you nothing will. It's your team and you should do what you want.

I think MT is more valuable on your team then in a trade for Ronald Jones. I agree with what you are looking to do. I just don’t think you are getting enough value back IMO.

He had 192 yards in a huge week last week, but in 3 weeks before that he has 9, 23, and 34 yards rushing.

ETA- and Jones has a bye still coming week 13

Looks like he’s boomed twice, busted twice, and has generally met expectations other than that. That’s pretty consistent to me.

I’m confident I have a top 2 team in the league, whether I accept the trade or not. If the only thing you have to convince me is that MT has been historically good, then that’s not enough. I have 6 good WRs and 2 good RBs. If I don’t trade a WR for a RB then I’m in trouble.

Yeah he had 64 rushing yards total in the three games leading up to last week

Jones scored nearly 40% of his season total in two games. He’s only played more than 60% of the RB snaps twice this season. Fournette always lurking

“Fantasy experts” may say trade thomas but it ain’t for frickin Ronald Jones

Alright, since there is such an overwhelming response, I’m going to listen to y’all (kind of). First, I will see how RoJo does in tonight’s game. If he does well. I’m taking it. If he does not do well. I’ll counter asking for a better RB. I know he’s not willing to give up Carson but he might give up CEH or Gurley.

You’re just giving up a (more than likely) far more productive player ROS for a guy that, at best will average 12 or so points.

And he had Bucs record TD run as part of one of those games, not exactly something you can count on

RoJo got traded for JuJu in my league

I agree with what OP is trying to do, but it’s an awfully low return for MT, especially since you’ve weathered him through injury and comeback and RoJo even still has a bye

You had swift and Boston Scott at one point no?

How about adding Booker to backup up Jacobs and working a small trade to get Scott back. Those are the only extra RBs you need and it will cost way less than Thomas

Thomas has a cake schedule remaining. Ignoring the data on him seems stubborn but I digress. I’m fairly certain you would regret that trade.

It’s not sexy but adding Gore for some consistency and letting others provide upside.

And if PPR, James White may be the beneficiary of the Burkhead injury.

I dropped Scott early and traded Swift, Thielen, and Deshaun Watson for Jacobs and McLaurin.

I just offered him MT and Mike Davis for CEH. Figured he might take it with Swift, Gaskin, and Carson trying to recover to give him an extra week.

Fournette just makes RoJo so

Backfield is a disaster I would want no part of

You need to hurry and accept. RoJo just went off for 24 yards in 10 carries. Hurry before he changes his mind and pulls the offer

That's not as bad but.....while the TDs were nice yesterday, CEH "only" played 51% of the snaps and only had 2 targets. He's had 9, 9, 8, 15 (yesterday) touches since Bell came in. So be careful.

By all means go see what Reddit has to say

You can do better than Ronald Jones. Plain and simple.
