Booker time -- finally a stash pays off

quote:

Garafolo's colleague, Ian Rapoport, adds that it's possible Anderson could miss the rest of the season. Anderson is getting a second opinion on Wednesday to see how severe the injury is. Anderson was able to play through it Monday night, and this comes as quite a big shock. Moving forward, Devontae Booker figures to handle every-down duties and will be backed up by special teamer Kapri Bibbs. Booker is an immediate RB1 for Week 8 vs. San Diego

Good thing I dropped Booker in both my leagues weeks ago. Especially that league where I drafted Woodhead, Abdullah, and Foster.

If you are still in contention then you must be DAMN good at this game.

I'm 2-5 in 12-team PPR and in 9th place. Top 6 make the playoffs so hoping I can squeak in because there are teams ahead of me that still look way worse than mine.

I picked Booker up as a handcuff. I'm sill waiting for blzr to drop Morris. Scooping up handcuffs seem to be the way to go this year. RBs dropping like flies.

My WR's are Marshall, Fitz, Cobb, Tate, Coates. Would you drop Coates for Derrick Henry?

I would. Someone finally dropped Henry in one of my other leagues where I own Murray. I scooped him up. I couldn't afford to lose Demarco.

Thought I read somewhere that they feared it was an ACL tear, but they tests on that came out negative

They tested the knee and confirmed that it is not an ACL tear. They haven't yet set a timetable for his return, but he's very very likely to be out this week and probably more. We'll know more later today.
