Thanks. Those are the two I had plugged in but I'm always second guessing myself. Made the bonehead move to sit Jeffery for Manny/Gordon.

This line of thinking is always a fallacy. The only time it can be relevant is if you have a final Mon night matchup and you can cancel out an opponents player with the lead. Otherwise you always play your best lineup regardless of matchups, common players, etc.

That being said I could argue starting either player. The Rams were gashed by Seattle last week, so Lindsay could have a good game. He plays well at home too. There's also a good chance of snow, which I would imagine favors the running game.

I would want any piece of that Kansas City New England game, which has the highest over/under of the week at 59.5. Points will be scored. And Belicheck is so good at removing opponents star players, it could leave Watkins open for a great game.

I'd say the safe play is Lindsay, the higher upside is Watkins.
