I like your draft considering you had the 5th pick but your league rules suck. Why require 2 Ks 2TEs and 2 Def? We just voted to eliminate defense spot in our league. I tried to get the K spot eliminated as well but the vote failed

Strong roster. +401 starting DVORP, 2,102 projected starting points — this is a well-built team, and the punt strategy on QB/TE/K/DST was exactly right for this scoring system.

Puka Nacua at 1.05 is the anchor, and it's not close. +172.6 DVORP — more than double the next-best player on the roster. If this really was the 1.05 pick, it's a strong, defensible one; real market ADP had him going 4th overall this preseason, so picking him 5th cost nothing.

Even with 6-point TDs across the board, QB6 through QB12 spans just 12 points over a full season — under a point a week. Hurts at (presumably) a mid-round price is functionally the same as Allen at a premium one. This is the single most consistent finding across every scoring format I've tested this whole project, and it holds again here. Getting Hurts and Puka Nacua instead of reaching for a QB1 early is a real edge, not a compromise.

TE is thinner than QB (McBride/Bowers separate meaningfully at the very top), but by rank 6–12 it also flattens — Kittle at 175.4 sits within 8 points of Ferguson at rank 12. Fine place to wait.

The one real soft spot: WR3 through WR6 are all within 15 points of each other and all hover near replacement level. Pittman (+7.0), Wan'Dale Robinson (-2.5), Brian Thomas (-2.7), Jayden Reed (-7.3) — a good, deep, undifferentiated group. That's fine as a flex-and-bench rotation, but there's no third difference-maker behind Nacua and Nabers. Bhayshul Tuten (+25.1) is quietly the better value than any of those four — a receiving-role back in the RB2/flex spot outproduces the whole back end of the WR room.

Overall: this is a top-of-the-league roster. Two clear top-15 skill players at their positions (Nacua top-3 overall, Jeanty a real RB1), a properly-punted QB that costs nothing, and a defensible TE. The only lever left to pull is upgrading one of those four interchangeable WR4-6 spots via waivers once the season clarifies who's actually earning targets.

I waited on QB and RB2, and put a lot of resources into TE but they dominate in this format.


ETA: one of the things I like about this league is that there aren’t many rankings out there for our exact format, and it’s a live draft with no phones or computers allowed. So it really gives an edge to the owners who put in their own research, rather than just looking at ADP and drafting the next available player.

Ideally both flex spots will be taken by a TE, so I won’t ever have to start more than 2 WRs or RBs. I actually drafted Washington before my third TE, though.

I will probably trade a TE for a RB or QB at some point during the season, granted that Kraft and Kittle return to form.

Just to give an idea vs the rest of my league.

I’m projected the most points at 2 flex positions combined and at the 2 WR positions combined, I’m projected last in QB and Superflex combined, and 8/12th in RB positions combined.

As far as your team goes, it looks like you went WR, WR before getting a RB. Great combo but we keep hearing that Corum will start to cut until KWill's PT one day.

Fannin was great with Sanders at QB. Will his production remain up as long as Watson is the QB?

Caleb will be good for you in year 2 under Ben Johnson.

I think you will be juggling which RBs to start all year.

No offense here but is this a novice league? Even in standard I don't know how Puka and JSN fall to the 10/11 turn, but you reaped the benefits and were able to grab Kyren/Breece at the 3/4 turn and then I presume Swift and Moore at the 5/6.

You will have a massive weekly advantage at WR every week and your backs should combine on average for an additional 22-35 points. It's a team with a lot of star power and good depth.

I'm in a 10 year old 1/2 PPR league that's really only got 1 guy out of his depth. I picked 6th. In all of my mocks I went RB/RB or WR/WR, but Justin Jefferson never fell to me in the second in a mock, and he did in the draft. So I ended up as follows:

I like my core of Cook, Williams, Jefferson, Loveland but my fate is obviously tied to the Bears offense taking a leap. I should have ~50% of their target share on a weekly basis. It's built a little closer to a DFS stack than is typically seen in yearly, so my team will be inherently volatile. Just need them to get me to the playoffs and be on a heater at the end of the year.

I think Price was criminally under valued in ADP and BTJ is really my swing player. If I get rookie BTJ he's a league winner. If I get roller coaster BTJ he's droppable
