So, does anyone think Gordon is NOT worth keeping on your roster for the last few weeks of the FF season and playoffs?

Just curious

As long as you can make it to the playoffs... I think he's totally worth it.

Unless you have extremely limited bench spots, I'd keep him. If you have to drop him, at least trade for someone good.

One of my leagues has 4 bench spots, so it will be tough for some bye weeks, but I will keep him.

Browns coach Mike Pettine expressed some skepticism Friday that Josh Gordon will rejoin the team after his eight-game suspension is through. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Friday that Gordon's ban is expected to dip from 16 to eight games pending the approval of a new drug policy. "I'll believe it when I see it," were Pettine's words. The Browns likely view anything they get from Gordon as a 2014 bonus. Fantasy owners should have the same approach.

Add Pettine to the list of those that missed out on Gordon in their respective fantasy drafts

For those of you calling for him to sue and play in the meantime (if i understand that correctly). Wouldn't that just pro-long his punishment, since its likely to be upheld at this point? Id rather him sit out the determined amount of games and come back week 9 and help out with playoffs, rather than play 2-3 now, and still get 8 game suspension.

Still wouldn't be surprised if this deal never gets done.

They've been saying this for a week now. "Tomorrow is the day"

"Oh, actually they've been pushed back to read over the new language"

they've cleared the major hurdles and are just going over language/wording. Deal will be done

agreed

i really just want an answer one way or the other. i'll hold gordon if i know he's coming back. if he isn't reinstated, i won't be too mad because it was a risk worth taking.

but this state of limbo sucks.

i currently don't have a kicker or a defense in all 3 of my leagues. shite is rough out there.

If he is granted an injunction, he would get to play while the lawsuit is being settled. That could take a long time. Remember how long it took for the StarCaps case to get settled and for the Saints players to finally serve their suspensions? Not saying it would take that long in this case but lawsuits do take time.
