These two items are gonna help me sleep tonight:

Chris Mortensen appeared on ESPN's NFL Insiders today and was discussing the deal between the NFLPA and NFL. He said that they have made progress this afternoon, but it might be into Thursday (or later) that a deal gets done, so he’s skeptical that Browns WR Josh Gordon (or any of the suspended players) would be available for Week 2. But here’s the key exchange:
Q: What is the probability that these players are reinstated?
A: I think that it’s a 100 percent probability based on what I’ve been told.

The NFL didn’t issue Gordon’s suspension until the new league year. That’s the notice issue. Perhaps most importantly, Gordon’s suspension didn’t become final until the completion of his appellate process with the NFL, which was also in the new league year. There is no question in my mind that Gordon is going to play this year. There are too many legal arguments he can make that will allow him to do so.

Yeah that's almost a given....
But...
there needs to be a deal agreed upon before that. At this rate, I wouldn't be surprised if they held off until after the Super Bowl

I know what you're thinking. No way that's the real Josh Gordon. BUT IT IS! It's his verified account.

The vote among NFLPA reps on a new drug policy is not expected until Friday at the earliest.

I'm now officially on the train. I dropped Jeremy Hill and my starting D to pick up Gordon in two leagues.

Josh Gordon, Wes Welker and other recently suspended players remain in limbo. The union is awaiting a response from the league to its latest recommendations before they actually hold their vote, and the league office is a engulfed with the Ray Rice scandal right now. The two sides appear close on a deal, but there are "issues with language on multiple issues, including commissioner authority in the appeals process." Gordon remains worth stashing in all formats even though this isn't going to get sorted out before Sunday. Sep 11 - 9:16 AM
no Gordon vs the saints is a plus i guess

Jesus. How hard can it be to get this done. Judging by the way that Ray Rice thing is going, the commish is going to lose his job and they will put all of this stuff off until next year.
