Initially they'll monitor it. But once you get into the flow of the game, coaches ignore their "snap count."

How many practices has he had. Serious question.

Are you talking about the quote where he says he doesn't know how many snaps he'll see?

You mean all of preseason camp?

It's the same shite that Bowles said about ASJ. Dude went out and played like 90% of the snaps when he came back from suspension.

Coaches want to win. Like more than anything.

quote:

ESPN's Dan Graziano expects Doug Martin to be "significantly in the mix" Thursday against the Patriots. He's done with his four-game PED suspension and will make his season debut in primetime Thursday against the reigning Super Bowl champs. Martin was noncommittal about his role earlier this week, though Graziano gets the "sense" the Bucs didn't activate him to work in a timeshare with Jacquizz Rodgers. It sounds like Martin will be the Bucs' featured back on Thursday night, though it's fair to expect rust coming off such a long absence. With four teams on bye, he's RotoPat's No. 15 running back for Week 5.

I'll actually make this easy. Lev, Zeke, Gurley, Hunt, Fournette, Shady, Melvin, Hyde, Howard, Ajayi, Powell, Lamar, DeMarco.... Martin.

Im just thinking since he's been off for 4 weeks they'd ease him back. Specially since it's his first week back is on a Thursday.

I'm still on the fence if I play him tonight. It's him, Smallwood, or Abdullah. Thoughts?

Did something happen to Smallwood? Espn is protecting him with 0 points. I know he was dealing with an injury but I haven't seen any need.

Smallwood has been dealing with a knee injury and likely will be a scratch this weekend.

I own Martin in 2 leagues and won’t touch him. Dirk has an affinity for Jacquizz Rodgers coupled with a dislike for Martin. He already said this week Quizz got a game ball va NYG and he likes what they have going right now, so not expecting much from Doug

hehehe
