PPR League
Who are you higher on - Ladd McConkey or Brian Thomas Jr?
Both seem to be que'd up for a nice chunk of targets.

BTJ, but it may just be my fandom showing.

Ladd may end up being the WR 1 whereas BTJ may be the 3rd option. For best ball I’d go BTJ but I think Ladd is safer in PPR

In a PPR - Ladd has potential to have a much higher target share. Jax will spread the ball across 5 quality targets.
I think Thomas could have a little more upside and as rookies the floor is risky for both but I would think Ladd will have more targets as a relatively reliable prediction

Ladd and I don't think its terribly close.
Jags still Engram and Kirk. I see BTJ in the DJ Chark role there early in his career. He'll have some nice weeks on the back of the deep ball but I don't see him being a target monster.
Ladd is replacing Keenan Allen and the rest of the receiver room is full of average players. Ekeler is gone, so there isn't much in the way of a security blanket for Herbert. I think LM will lead them in targets and I think they'll find themselves in better gam scripts for a WR

This will be a fun thread to keep an eye on throughout the year.
It's a completely new staff and new offense so this may not have as much carry over as you think. I agree Ladd is in the better offense though but BTJ is the better talent. I'm going with Thomas

Agreed
I had BTJ ranked higher but both as nice draft targets. Only ended up with McConkey in a league. Lots of LSU fans in my leagues
