How long do you think before kerryon gets 20+ carries per game? He’s clearly the most talented guy in the lions’ backfield.

As soon as Kevin Smith gets his 20+ carries and Abdullah gets his 20+ carries and Jahvid Best gets his 20+ carries and Reggie Bush gets his 20+ carries.

Get my point??

If he emerges as “the guy” I don’t think it’s until later in the season. Perhaps after a bye week or something. I nabbed Blount in a late round after somebody picked K.Johnson because I think he vultures TD from the backfield.

Patricia is their new coach. He’s a Belichick disciple. He’s not giving up the RBBC most likely

Masquerading as a man with a reason
My charade is the event of the season
And if I claim to be a wise man, it surely means that I don't know
On a stormy sea of moving emotion
Tossed about I'm like a ship on the ocean
I set a course for winds of fortune, but I hear the voices say

Kerryon Johnson is the Lions' first 100-yard rusher since Reggie Bush on Thanksgiving 2013, snapping a streak of 70 games without a 100-yard rusher, the 4th longest drought in NFL history.

All I know is he has increased his points each week of the season and just got 16 carries for 100 yards. He also passes the eye test. I think he will become the feature back sooner rather than later.

I'm considering starting him from here on out. All arrows are pointing up no doubt, though.

This makes absolutely no sense, it’s not the same coaching staff.

Agreed. Think he's getting to a safe enough volume level to start him. Their fans audibly cheered when he got to 100. They want him to take the job and be the guy. I think the Lions have to see the difference between their first two games and this one. Making Stafford throw 50 times a game is a bad recipe. Gotta establish a running game and your best bet to do that is with KJ.

they just need to phase blount out and go with a combo of johnson and riddick. The rotation lastnight was odd at times..Johnson for 6-7 yards on 1st, blount dropped in the backfield on 2nd.

Blount isn't awful but he's one dimensional and a relatively easy tell for the D to key in on when he comes in

Despite 16-101 performance, Kerryon Johnson played only 44.6% of #Lions offensive snaps (down from 46.8% in Week 2) and handled 50% of backfield carries Sunday night.

yup. kerryon looked much much better

i have him stashed in one league, so im not in a big rush. he's the clear best man in that backfield
