Danny Amendola was targeted 19 times in Sunday's loss to the Lions.
After Mark Clayton went down, Amendola clearly became Sam Bradford's favorite target. No other receiver had more than six targets on the day. Amendola becomes a must-add in PPR formats with Clayton now out for the season.

Citing a league source, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that Seneca Wallace has been diagnosed with a high right ankle sprain.
The Browns plan to put Wallace on an "aggressive rehabilitation program" to try to get him ready to start at Pittsburgh in Week 6, but that seems like quite a long shot.

Vittorio Tafur of the SF Chronicle doesn't expect Darren McFadden (hamstring) to play this week.
Tafur attends Raiders practices daily and listened to Tom Cable's press conference Monday, so he's got the inside track on injury situations. Cable didn't rule out McFadden during Monday's discussions, but Michael Bush looks set up for another monster workload in Week 6 at San Francisco. Among all NFL tailbacks in Week 5, only Ray Rice got the ball more than Bush.
too late to grab, but don't drop yet

WHat's up on the Indy RB situation? Is Hart worth a pick-up?

tough right now
Brown may be back, Addai may be a go
Is it worth a waiver move? being that 100% both will be back after their week 7 bye. So Hart a maybe play for 1 week tops....look elsewhere

The Colts reportedly put in a waiver claim on Devin Thomas, losing out to the 0-5 Panthers.
um, with all the WRs in Indy, why would they go after Thomas? one of Garcon,Gonzales,Collie could be injured more than we have been let to know.

The Seattle Post-Intelligencer's Greg Johns issued a "fantasy alert" on Marshawn Lynch after coach Pete Carroll made it clear that his new back is ready for a major role in his first game at Chicago.
"He's very much into [the offense]," said Carroll. "I don't think there's going to be any problem of him playing a lot in this game.

Greg Johns of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer confirms that Golden Tate and Deon Butler are both headed for a "significant boost" in playing time following the Deion Branch trade.
Brandon Stokley will also be in the mix as a slot receiver. Branch was in on an unbelievable 83 percent of offensive snaps over the first four games, so Butler (47.8 percent) and Tate (27.2) have plenty of room to grow. Tate is the offense's best big-play threat, and he's our favorite of the Seattle receivers to emerge as a viable fantasy option.
I'm thinking Stokely, but I'm just glad that I don't need to pick between any of these

Keiland Williams played 25 snaps in Week 5 compared to 55 for starter Ryan Torain.
Torain had 16 carries to just one for Williams, an indication that the latter is being used on obvious passing downs as the superior blocker/receiver.
So if Torain goes down Keiland is a True 3 down back

Michael Jenkins (shoulder) was listed as the starter opposite Roddy White on the Falcons' latest depth chart.
He will make his 2010 debut in Week 6 and, as expected, will regain his starting job. Harry Douglas had a chance to stake claim to the starting gig but didn't do enough. He'll be moved to a slot role.
sell high on Roddy White, his catches will drop as his targets decline.

Jenkins sucks, dude
Roddy has also been top 10 in targets the past 3 years.

Jermichael Finley (torn lateral meniscus) has reportedly begun informing teammates that he's done for the 2010 season.
The Packers need roster room to activate Atari Bigby, Al Harris, and James Starks from the PUP list next week, so Finley is likely headed to I.R. Cautious owners can wait for the move to become official, but with Wednesday as the typical fantasy waiver wire deadline, feel free to cut Finley loose now
try a quick trade to an unsuspecting owner

Jenkins and his 50 catches a year has been there since White bursted onto the scene. He has no impact on White.

News: Saints RB Pierre Thomas (ankle) remained unable to practice Wednesday as New Orleans began preparation for their Week 6 game against the Buccaneers. Analysis: Thomas has carried the ball 46 times this season for 147 yards with one touchdown and has caught 17 passes for another 133 yards, and with the way the Saints have struggled lately, they clearly need him back ASAP. However, it's likely Sean Payton will not risk re-injury in this situation and continue to be very careful with Thomas. Follow his progress closely heading into Sunday, as this matchup against the Buccaneers would be a very favorable one.

Updating a previous item, Michael Vick (ribs) insisted Wednesday that he has indeed resumed throwing.
"I got the motion back," said Vick, who didn't participate in Wednesday's practice. Both Vick and coach Andy Reid wouldn't rule the injured quarterback out for Week 6 on Wednesday. Kevin Kolb remains likely to take all the first-team practice reps on Thursday and Friday, and start against Falcons
