I'd go Cook without Brees there dumping it off. Feel like Winston may take off running vs taking his check down to Kamara

Hell Cook is the pick even in PPR. So in .5 it's even more obvious.

Yea Winston is a pure pocket passer lol idk if he’ll hit his check downs but he’ll def get sacked before he makes it far running

I'm picking #2 in my league on 9/6. I'm considering passing on Cook and Kamara and take Henry.

Cook is much safer. Not much has changed with the Vikings. He probably has the same upside but a higher floor thank Kamara.

Or, imagine Kamara in an offense where they can stretch the ball downfield.

Id take either. Had Cook last year, lost to Kamara in Championship. Those two will both produce similarly.

He hasn't had one scramble from pass during his stint with the Saints

Henry is due for some regression. Don’t reinvent the wheel here, take Dalvin.

Why are you higher on Cook than Kamara?

Not challenging, just curious.

Kamara looks to be in line for a CMC type workload this year with the Saints’ lack of pass catching options. Here’s my opinion on it from another thread

quote:

I know many have Cook a tier above Kamara, but I don’t think that’s the case. Both are the focal points of the offense.

Cook should see 250+ carries, including all goal line work, and his usual 50 or so targets. 300+ carries is in the range of outcomes.

Kamara should see 180-200 carries, but that also includes the majority of the goal line work. He will also get his usual 100+ targets, but with the Saints’ lack of pass catching options 130+ targets is in his range of outcomes.

Long story short, you’re splitting hairs between the two IMO.
