If you’re picking 2nd in a PPR and want an RB, Chase goes 1. Do you go Bijan or Barkley?

I know I’m in the minority but I rather Barkley even with the madden curse.

i went Bijan but I think it's just a personal preference thing. Saquon could easily outscore him. 480 carries and 2500 yards is a lot tho

This is going to happen to me tomorrow night. I'm taking Bijan.

I’m pretty certain the guy with the 1.1 in my league is going Saquon, so I’ll end up with Chase at 1.2.

The madden curse isn’t “real”, what’s real is RBs falling off the year after they have a workload like Barkley had.

My draft went Chase, Bijan, Gibbs, Saquon.

I would’ve taken Gibbs 1.2

Does Gibbs figure in the equation?

Gibbs
Barkley
Bijan
Derrick Henry

Can’t go wrong with either one

Why not the leader in PPR last season in Gibbs?

Y’all are crazy. Saquan is in the best position for a rb in the league just like last year. He’s going to feast again.

He only blew up when Montgomery was out. No way I'm taking him 1.2.

I think it’s very foolish to shoehorn yourself into drafting a certain position in the first round

Go for whichever player you think is going to get you the most points

While I think either is a fine pick, It is exceedingly rare for a RB to come close to previous when their workload is as high as Barkley’s was last year.

It’s why most lean to Bijan. He’s still young and appeared to get better as the season went on last year. He bears all the marks of being on the rise AND he gets to play the Saints and the Panthers twice each on top of now either benefitting from or covering up a QB who is essentially a rookie. Add that to the assumption that teams are gonna make Hurts beat them and stack the box and sell out on the run, and you have a recipe for significant regression.

He fell to me at pick 4 in my main 14man PPR highest money league and I couldn’t have been happier.

It’s all a crap shoot anyway. Best you can do is an educated guess and look at history. I am of the opinion that both of those tell you to lean to Bijan.

If given the choice between the two straight up, I still go Bijan but it’s not much better than a coin flip

The Falcons just lost one of their best OL for the season. He plays RT, which with a left handed QB, could have an impact on the offense overall. Vegas has dramatically downgraded the Falcons offense from being a mid-range scoring offense to being in the bottom 8.

There is a world where that means Bijan gets more dump-off passes, but I would still rather him play in a higher scoring offense.

I wouldn't move him down much, but that may be enough for me to move him from my #2 overall to 3 or 4.
