I don't do it. But that doesn't mean other teams should prevented from it. Making the playoffs doesn't just give you the right to free reign of all pickups imo.
But again, we've already gone over this. Disagree, it's fine. Just think it's ridiculous that so many people here are claiming collusion every time an eliminated team makes a move. Boom - not saying you claimed that, but many others have with no other evidence of it except for a guy picking up a waiver player.

1st in my league and had Wentz as my starter. A week ago, I picked up Rodgers before any other playoff team could, just so they couldn't get him. I had no intention of playing him.

Could you imagine if you didn't get Rodgers because the last place team got him? You'd be fricked because someone that has nothing to play for made a ww move.

I think once you're out of the playoffs, and the playoffs have started, you shouldn't make transactions. At least I don't do it.

Is that bad as well? I'll make moves to keep guys off playoff rosters all day, especially if I have a bench spot open or a guy that just isn't worth keeping.

Nothing wrong with that at all.

I like to win even in the losers bracket, it's a pride thing. My league is competitive though.

I think if the guy has a matchup next week, even if it's not for any money, it's fine. If the guy has no game this week (in our league the last 2 teams don't play at all), then yeah that's a problem. Why Yahoo even allows them to make waiver claims is a mystery to me.

As soon as Wentz went down last week I put a waiver claim in for Jimmy G before I got eliminated. My backup is Stafford who isn’t 100% so I wasn’t risking it.

When I'm not in the playoffs or I get knocked out it's typical for me to have H2H side bets. In that case, I'm absolutely still playing the WW

You can still side Bet and others can still “play for pride” just do it with the players already on your roster
