It doesn't seem like this proposal is going to get enough support to warrant a vote, so I will table it for now.
The only reason it was brought up was because during the season, I make notes of potential issues and make sure that we discuss them every offseason. The only notes made last year were in regards to this issue because someone had to make a decision between hanging on to a young player that was injured (because he was out of IR slots) or dropping him and adding a trash wire guy just to field a competitive team. I think it would suck to have a championship caliber team in a DYNASTY league and have to drop a young upside player that is injured in order to keep things running.
If this wasn't a dynasty league and merely a redraft or keeper league, I could understand the logic against the proposal. However, it is a dynasty league, and I guarantee there will eventually be a scenario where this will be brought up again, and more than likely it will happen this year and to multiple teams.

If you have a 4th guy go down, then you are loosing your 27th best player on your roster in a 20 team league. Deal with it.
The FA pool is already thin enough, no need to make it thinner.
