FYI. It's not clear cut in the rules, but I don't think that a player without any MLB experience should be allowed to be placed on the IL. I've already spoken with Earl about this, and he has agreed to drop him. Just wanted to give a heads up in case anyone else was thinking about doing something similar.

This has come up in the past and we determined minor leaguers aren't allowed on the IL because the purpose of the IL is to allow you to field players who can accumulate stats, its a major league roster function only.

If they have been called up at any point in their career, they can be slotted in a MLB spot.

Previous years we always made everyone clear out their DL spots before they can make moves during the offseason anyways. It always policed itself during offseason

Players are allowed to be put back on IL once pitchers and catchers report.
