Your part was a 1 for 1. Pollock for Martinez. Not much thought was needed from you regarding the other pieces. If you needed something else to do the deal, I would have looked into it to see if it made sense for the teams involved.

I don’t think anyone wants to give you the boot. I don’t. I know you’re working it.

Franmil could be a high K guy who makes it work like Story. Little bit of a gamble. I kinda like Smith, wouldn’t move me. Was surprised it was a piece that moved Gyno off of Voit. Voit could be a Muncy-like steal.


I’ll just piggy back on MWG’s comment. It’s a little baffling to get asked about Rosario or Sanchez and then accept Reyes.

I think Martinez is the one sure thing in the deal. at worst he's a very solid SP3. At best he is at that age where he could potentially make a Scherzer-like jump and no one would be shocked.
