Aug 3, 6:52 AM Ryu, Hyun-Jin SP

Hyun-Jin Ryu Looks Good In First Rehab Start Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu (groin) tossed four scoreless innings while striking out four and giving up two singles in his first rehab start for Single-A Rancho Cucamonga. Ryu has been out for three months after tearing his groin off the bone, so he'll need at least a handful more starts before becoming an option for LA's rotation. The left-hander could become an option for fantasy owners next month. He was pitching very well before his injury, so he could become an option in all leagues down the stretch.

2.12 ERA, .876 Whip, a very sustainable 10.92 K/9 before injury.

Was actually just reading some old Denver threads on the travel board, got some breweries and food stuff.

What area did you stay in?

I stayed downtown. I was there for a work conference so they paid. I think it was a courtyard marriott right on 16th st. It was nice. I'd stay there again because it was pretty centrally located. You can walk just about everywhere downtown similar to nola.

Cool

Debating a quick weekend trip to either Colorado next weekend or St Louis in sept for a series. Haven’t done either but I’m leaning Colorado

The Brown Palace in Denver is my hotel of choice in Denver

Denver Central Market is a cool little food hall a few blocks from Coors, pretty chill.

Dinner recs i suggest the following:

Union station is a cool place, old train station with a hotel and bunch of restaurants. I like Stoic & Genuine and Mercantile.

Other easy option with plenty of choices is Larimer street, its a one block strip full of restaurants between 14th and 15th.

Rioja is my favorite place on Larimer and probably in all of Denver.

Osteria Marco is a solid italian place too.

1/2 gummy works better!

I was in the CO mtns about 2 weeks ago and partook of the chiba and the craft beer - mostly the pils. I don't like heavy, dark beer.

Sanchez was promoted to Double-A Montgomery on Friday, Marc Topkin of The Tampa Bay Times reports.

ANALYSIS
Sanchez slashed .301/.331/.462 with 10 home runs, 64 RBI and six stolen bases across 90 games with High-A Charlotte this season. He will get his first taste of action at the Double-A level, which is where the 20-year-old outfielder is expected to begin the 2019 campaign.
