M.O.’s do change, trade deadline vs offseason. Redd & Barry May not have traded with you but once things reset things change.
Just feels like you forced it up against the deadline. I think you went from top 5 staff to 12-13 & your hitting would have been fine with Seager back. You’re on the verge of contending. Just my opinion.

I’ve had a top 3 staff and a bottom 5-7 OPS team the last two seasons. That recipe just doesn’t fly.
Scherzer is the Ace but he’s not my whole staff. Got some guys coming next year. I trust my pitching scouting more than being able to find stud bats on the wire.
