Healy is quite a bit younger, which matters in this league.

And I just looked and saw that Valencia has never hit the HR and RBI numbers that Healy had last year. So, I would say there is certainly a difference.

I’m talking about the IRL trade that went down tonight

Healey for Pagan and a MiLB ss

quote:

New @Athletics P Emilio Pagan was tied for 11th-best RP xwOBA (quality of contact +K/BB) of 254 who faced 100 hitters, basically performing like Brandon Morrow. I had already liked the 2018 A's. This only helps. baseballsavant.mlb.com/statcast_searc…

Who was closing or setting up games for OAK once they dealt all their RP?

I got insta-rejected. And I'm not sure I could give any more

1) I never offered the pick up in a trade
2) I’m not interested in minor league players in general so I would never accept that offer

Damn i missed that trade. Healy was pretty expendable with everything the A's had on the IF.

I wouldn't trade the top pick this year, either

I bit the bullet for y'all then. He's going to have some really ugly lines this year. I just can't get over how great he looked in the Futures game.

I certainly hope so. I don't think he'll even get a chance to start.

Texas Rangers infielder/outfielder Jurickson Profar has been a subject of trade talks for the Yankees, according to Joel Sherman of the New York Post. There is no obvious short-term or even long-term spot for Profar in the Bronx, but Sherman says the Yankees "would be willing to take on a single player with upside and pedigree in exchange for multiple players who are crowding their deep 40-man roster." Profar, once considered the No. 1 prospect in all of baseball, has batted just .229/.309/.329 in 206 career games at the major league level. A change of scenery would probably do him some good. The Reds and Padres are also looking at Profar, hoping he turns his career around at only 24.

frick going to the Yankees. Ain't no place for him there, either. Would fap to a Reds or Padres destination, however.

Is Tom Murphy not a thing any longer?

Guy was like trying to trade for Gary Sanchez for a while there
