Fantasy payouts in the Covid era

How is your league handling payouts if the season gets cut short?

Just totally voiding the season, we all get our money back

We're normally a $200 buy-in league, but this year we just said, frick it free year because no one wants to deal with it.

we're still doing $100 a person but everyone gets money back season is cancelled before fantasy playoffs

I think the best route would be to pay out whatever percentage the season made it. Half way? Pay half the winnings and the rest goes back to the league. 75% of the season gets played? Pay out 75%. They call it quits after week 4? 25% payout.
That's not how my leagues are handling it though. Seems my leagues aren't going to play. There's not been a single peep about fantasy football from any of my leagues. Either they all decided to go on without me, which I guess is possible, or no one wants to play.

Full steam ahead in 5/6 leagues.
Simplest method if they cut the season short is to reward the top performing teams. Payout based upon total points if it's cut short. Maybe 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Typically, 3rd just gets their fee back.

I'm in 2 10 team leagues, and we decided for full payout after 9 games, since that means that each team would have played each other 1 time.
It's not my favorite plan, but it is what it is.
