They need to hurry up. I'm reaching out with my money and they're refusing to take it.

All paperwork should be done tomorrow. As it said in the bill August 1 is when they wanted everything tied up. After that, companies like DK and FD will apply for a license. Once approved and they can prove the geo works, we should be set.

Disappointed because the PGA Champ is next week and it looks like we won’t be in yet.

At least we have the US Open coming up in September - should be ready by then for sure.

I've been searching for news about this myself, and can't find anything. Very annoying.

It's up to the state to place the restrictions on the parishes that voted No.

It took Virginia almost two years for their legislation to go into effect

What do you mean by "place restrictions?" Doesn't the fantasy sports company use geofencing for this? That has to be up to them to have in place, correct? I understand that could take them a little while to setup, but I'd imagine they'd be incentivized to do it quickly.

Will be up by NFL.

The geofencing to be able to narrow it more is part of the sites checklist they need to obtain a license.

I know DK and FD have it.

Virginia was the first state to legalize it. The governor signed the bill in March and it was running in August.
