Drafted MT13 1st rd: Would you trade Michael Thomas for Calvin Ridley right now?

Believe if I wait another week to pull trigger on trade then it’ll be known that Ridley is the better WR1 option. The other person says he’d take the trade. Would you propose that trade right now?

I’m holding on to Thomas. I think it will pay off big if he comes back healthy

Wouldn't even consider it. I also took MT in 1st

Guess I’ll hold onto Thomas just since it’d look pretty stupid if that trade ended up as a bust. Brees is such a noodle arm now though.
I’m still second in the league right now in PF cuz I have the two highest scoring players overall thru the first couple weeks (R. Wilson and A. Jones). Would be tight to have the #1 scoring QB, RB, & WR.

I'll get downvoted for this, but it doesn't matter about drew having a noodle.. MT runs slants all day. Don't need whip just timing and accuracy on those passes

It isn’t a bad idea but it is risky. Calvin Ridley is playing lights out right now and Falcons will always be throwing with their lack of run game and defense. It is hard to gauge where Michael thomas is at. They didn’t put him on IR and were hyping him up as possible to play soon but his injury time table is typically 4-6 weeks. I kind of feel like Ridley May have a break out year and finish in the top 5 if he can stay healthy

Yeah I'm not worried about Brees arm. I thought this was about injury timetable.
If I knew MT would be out 4 weeks and I'm 0-2, I'm shopping him and would definitely take Ridley in return.
With their defense, Ryan is going to throw for 5000 yards. That gives Julio and Ridley 2600 or more and plenty left to go around for Husrt, Gage and the RBs.
The variable here is how long is he going to be out.

I think Julio's injury is way more serious then anybody realizes or is letting known to the public... If teams are allowed to double ridley confidently without worrying about julio, then ridley might come back down to earth. I just don't see them putting up points and yards like that. I think that every year about the falcons and Matt Ryan normally proves me wrong

I don't know if this particular injury is really serious, but he is a big WR who is 31 years old with a long history of lower body issues. When he falls off, it'll happen fast, IMO.
I have Ryan and Ridley this season and it is paying off handsomely. The Falcons D is so bad that Ryan will probably lead the league in passing attempts this season.
Ridley has 21 TD in 31 games in his career. He's fast and a terrific route runner. Just because he isn't big doesn't mean he isn't a red zone weapon. He was my pick as breakout player of the year this season. He isn't going to catch 2 TDs every week, but if he stays healthy, I could easily see him finishing as a top 3-5 WR.

Ridley is a bonafide fantasy WR1 this year. Think Chris Godwin. Even if Thomas is only out another week I think you will still come out ahead.

I think Ridley will have more points than Thomas moving forward.
