RIP to those who drafted him.
ETA: IR with a chance to return in 8-12 weeks if the Cards haven't stared the year 1-9.

Dislocated wrist and surgery was recommended. He's getting a 2nd opinion, but that's a 14-16 week recovery.
Pretty much the rest of the year for everyone who drafted him.

First Edelman and then DJ...both in 20-team leagues with nothing on waivers. Good times I tell ya.

12 is the best case with 16 the worst.
You might be able to survive a loss of this magnitude in a traditional draft (I lost the 3rd pick LY in a league and won) but in an auction, you're fricked.

Looks like most of the year.
Tough spot if you own him. You could throw him on the bench (or IR if you have it) and hold hoping he's back for the playoffs. But if you drafted him it means you had the 1 or 2 pick, so your surrounding talent isn't as good.
Might be worth trying to trade him now. You might be able to convince someone to give up someone valuable for the opportunity to have DJ for the end of the year/playoffs.
On the flip side, if you don't own him, it might be worth trying to target him and stashing him if you have the depth to shoulder it - with the hopes that he'll be back late in the year to win you the ship.
Just some things to think about.
