I guess they've figured out the only way Dak can get Dez the ball is if he only has to throw it real short, so they try the WR screen. Nice.
Can't say the Oline doesn't give him protection. He simply just doesn't know what to do with the ball once the first read is covered up.

I'll take it. Great effort. Short pass right in the middle of the field. All Dez, no doubt. But the pass travelled about 8-10 yards in the air. Lotta ground to cover for him to live up to the draft day price tag.

When I had him a couple of year with Romo, I couldn't tell you how many times they just told dez to run a fade in order to attract attention away from other WRs. They use zero creativity to get him the ball.
