In case you were wondering why your fantasy teams are scoring less points that previous years:

Through 6 weeks there have been 110 fewer touchdowns scored than there were in 2020. Nearly 100 fewer than there were in 2021. Heard it on a podcast.

There is some bad football being played throughout the NFL.

I think all of those were missed by my players. Add 110 touchdowns and I would probably be in 3rd place making a playoff push.

They really need to change the NFL rules to favor the offense.

I wonder if the defenses in the NFL have finally caught up to the offenses

I'm hoping that is sarcasm...

Why is it bad football? Maybe defenses are better.

Nah. It’s much more likely to be what LSUcam posted. QB play has taken a noticeable dive.

ETA: There is also a wave of new head coaches, and some downright bad coaches in the league.

Kingsbury
Allen
Staley
Taylor
Rhule (Fired)
Bowles
McDaniels
Hackett
Stefanski
Lovie Smith

It’s bad offense for sure. Offenses are showing how one dimensional they’ve been for years. We had to see Mahomes and Allen destroy teams with the deep ball for years to finally get serious change across the league. Now defenses have adapted and are winning, it’s time for offenses to struggle and adapt and win

The Tampa 2 defenses and 2 deep coverages we’re seeing force QBs to read effectively and be patient and efficient. That’s something all of our stud QBs tend to lack right now

IMO, we have seen some terrible QB play this season. Throw in the light offseason and most teams not playing starters any in the preseason, you get a lot of sloppy offenses.
