With Mack going down does Hines take on a bigger role? Or do you think he’s still mainly a pass catching back?

I think Wilkins or Williams is the real question. Anyone have the real answer?

I'd like to get one on waivers, but not sure which one.

Definitely not Hines.
If wilkins weren't hurt, could have had a glimpse last week. But as things stand who knows.
Based on what I've read, I expect Mack to be back for game next week.

Been hearing that Wilkins will be the early down/goal line RB, and Hines getting the passing downs.

I may be wrong, but I think mack is out for the Thursday night game this week. What do you think about Williams as a replacement? He gained over 100 yards on sunday.

That's the dilemma, Wilkins is the normal #2 back, but he was hurt when Mack went down Sunday. That allowed Williams to come in and have a very productive day. So, who will get the bulk of the carries, the regular #2 or the guy who came in and showed out last Sunday?

Where are you reading this? He had hand surgery. I highly doubt that's a one week recovery for a running back.

Ehh, my inclination is just to stay away unless I'm desperate. No telling how the carries are split, when Mack is coming back AND the Colts schedule sucks too...Houston this week is a decent match-up, but then they have Titans, Bucs, & Saints, all very tough against the run.

Hines averaged 8.5 targets on 63% of Colts snaps in the four games Mack missed last year

That's not what I'm hearing. I'm hearing he's out this week, but who knows after that. I'm keeping him until Ian Rapoport reports something definitive.

RBs recovery time with similar surgery. It's not like a lot of data points, but the few that are available were short.

I have Mack and the #1 WW pick, looking at Williams or Bo from Detroit

Same, but 10th out of 14 on waivers. I'm leaning Williams since it's a short week and Wilkins likely won't be a full go.

Only thing I can say for Bo is that Stafford is going to miss some time so maybe they will have to rely on the run a little more. Generally I agree with you though.
