I'm a big believer in starting the guys you draft earliest, but Hogan is playing stat-boosting Saints defense (no Amendola), while Allen plays home against Miami. Am I overthinking it?

I could see hogan having a good game against the saints and with amendola being gone. Never can tell with the pats though

You're overthinking it. You're not wrong about Hogan's upside, but Allen is a much better play.

95% of the time, you should start the clear #1 receiver in a pass happy offense over the #2/slot receiver of another offense. If Allen was playing Denver or Baltimore, then maybe you play Hogan vs the Saints.
