It's just bench depth for me. I'm not starting any of them over Kamara, Sanders, or Gibson.

I'm just hoping one of them will stand out enough to help me upgrade QB.

I'm in for a world of pain if Tua doesn't grow the frick up, and quick.

I was committed to selecting Gus, then shifted to Gaskins in around 6 in the last seconds when I considered PPR format.

Dodged a damn bullet.

I still had PTSD from starting CEH and Bell at RB in the playoffs last year. Hurts, Cousins, Carr, Ryan, Roethlisberger, Fields - those were all on the board when I picked Gus in round 7.

Come to think of it, the whiskey may have affected me more than the tunnel vision.

Saquon Barkley has “one more hurdle” to clear today, Joe Judge said. If he gets through practice and there’s no setback, he’ll be good to go. Judge said a setback today is the only thing that would keep Barkley from playing on Sunday.

Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Antonio Brown have played 11 full games together (includes playoffs). Their usage + production:

* Evans — 48/764/7 (on 79 targets), 15.1 fantasy points per game

* Godwin — 55/650/5 (on 85 targets), 13.6 FPG

* AB — 47/547/5 (on 66 targets), 12.0 FPG

I wouldn't be giving up on Evans yet. Plenty of targets to go around.

I know Samuel is a receiver but JD McKissic may benefit from this. He’s an pass catching back that can line up in the slot if need be.

Broncos coaching staff on Javonte Williams...
quote:

“[Williams has] earned that trust,and we’re not at all against playing him in any situation at any time in the game. It looked like the University of North Carolina could have used him back the other night,” Fangio said earlier in the week. [That trust] goes from person to person. I’ve been around them that can do that. I can remember being with [Pro Football Hall of Fame RB] Edgerrin James when he was a rookie, and he was lights out right from Day 1.”

quote:

“We expected Williams to have an impact,” Shurmur said Thursday. “I was around a guy, [Giants RB] Saquon Barkley, who we ran the tires off of him and he was Rookie of the Year. He was ready for it and he did a great job. We expect Javonte to come out and play it at a high level, much like say Saquon did as a rookie.”

I love Javonte this year. It's disappointing I wasn't able to get him other than a best ball league. I think both he and MGIII will have a good season. I actually think the Broncos will surprise people in general. They're my W1 survivor pick.

Stefania Bell says that she's heard that Ekeler's hamstring is not the same one that he injured last year. She expects him to try to play Sunday.

Frank Reich said Wentz gets the start. I might have to slot Pittman in after all

This is such a strange situation. Did they keep this under wraps for a while or was it an injury he got within the past week?

I think that he just has some general soreness or stiffness from working out or something. It just doesn't make sense to me that he would be out there in full pads and helmet if he actually had any kind of actual injury. Just my opinion.

I have read that Evans was the king of doing more with less compared to others on the team. But his effort last night deserves an F. WTF looking at Brady like he's (Brady) incompetent when a ball flew by him instead of right in his hands? Godwin was diving all over the place and Evans couldn't be bothered to stretch his arms out fully. That's not going to fly with Brady. I'm going to start praying my bench options pan out.

Before the season has started, I have officially dropped Gus Edwards, and then added Ty'Son, Bell, and Murray.
