In one league I am without my top 4 studs this week: Mahomes, Kelce both on bye and ekeler, Carson both out...playing the 1-8 team that beat me in week 1 by less than half a point. Frick my luck

Bengals coach Zac Taylor said they're waiting for more information on RB Joe Mixon's foot injury. Will find out more today or tomorrow. Said Mixon was available at the end of yesterday but Gio Bernard was best for the two-minute offense.

It's concerning because I don't think we even have a diagnosis. He just says that there are issues with the foot.

The injury was 4-6 weeks. He's on the timeline.

Oh man. I’m no MD but collapsed lungs can be freak, life threatening events, no? I’m glad he was aware enough to notify Payton.

Source on Brees says the most optimistic recovery time would be 2-3 weeks. Emphasis on "optimistic." Will depend on healing time, which varies by patient, and when they're convinced he can take a hit without risk of serious re-injury. There is hope he's back in time for playoffs.

I would say he's probably out for the regular season. Maybe they bring him back in week 17 for a half like a preseason game to get back into it.
