I have Gio rostered but in standard leagues I'm not sure he's worth much if Mixon sits.

I did hear from a few injury guys that mixons foot injury can be just a time thing that just needs three to five full days of rest and then its fine.

Well see.

According to ESPN's Ben Baby, the Bengals protected practice-squad RB Jacques Patrick this week, which could indicate they aren't optimistic about Mixon's status.

DeSean Jackson had his MRI this morning and it confirmed the ankle injury knocks him out indefinitely. Philly will place Jackson on Injured Reserve but he does have a chance to return.

He’s available in my league. Start him in FLEX over Hockenson?

Think Gio vs CLE is worth starting over Joshua Kelley vs JAX or Chase Edmonds vs SEA in PPR?

Add in McKissic and we have the same RB bench. Same question here.

I like Gio over all of the options yall listed. He's been a top 15 back in the past when Mixon was out and he caught a handful passes vs Cleveland thr first time they played. This should be a high scoring game.

Gio Bernard available in 95% of ESPN leagues and is a top 20 play vs CLE.

Mixon played in every game last year, so obvious grains of slat where you need there for the context of this regime/week.

But in four games without Joe Mixon active since he was drafted, Gio has been the PPR RB14, RB19, RB8, and RB9. 17+ touches in all four.

Welp. I was rolling Sanders and Mixon as my Rb1 and 2 after I lost Barkley. Screwed.

Going to have to roll with Chase Edmonds and Damien Harris this week.

Patriots running back James White returned to practice Friday after two consecutive absences.

With Mixon out, I may start him over Singletary in PPR.

This is new. Please form an orderly line to request Jamaal Williams off the waiver wire.

quote:

Packers RB Aaron Jones did not practice Friday and will be on the team's final Week 7 injury report.
Jones appearing on the week's final injury report after not being listed with an injury this week is a bad sign for his availability against the Texans. RB Tyler Ervin (wrist) is still being held out of practice, meaning Jamaal Williams could be in for a considerable workload against Houston. Rookie RB AJ Dillon would presumably chip in too. Williams should be added in all leagues.

Rotoworld says Aaron Jones on injury report

Per CBS, Texans 32nd against the run.

Packers RB Aaron Jones suffered a very mild calf strain in practice Thursday, per source. Jones wants to play Sunday against the #Texans but sounds like it'll be a game-time decision.

Joe Mixon's absence from Cincinnati's Week 7 showdown with the Cleveland Browns puts Giovani Bernard squarely on the streaming and daily fantasy radar - and he could be a sneaky play in both full-season and DFS formats. Bernard has a 4.65 YPC average on 85 career carries vs. the Browns while adding 30 receptions for 280 yards on 38 targets. He won't win you the week, but Bernard should be in the RB2 conversation.

The Saints were actually missing both of their top two WRs during the early portion of Friday’s practice open to the media. No Michael Thomas, which puts his status in serious doubt for Sunday. And no Emmanuel Sanders for an unspecified reason. Practice report comes out later.

quote:

Saints are placing WR Emmanuel Sanders on reserve-COVID list, meaning he will be out for Sunday’s game vs. Panthers, per source. Issue is he practiced Thursday and now must quarantine.

Kliff Kingsbury is “hopeful” that WR DeAndre Hopkins will play Sunday night vs. SEA and be full speed because of the same ankle injury that’s been “lingering.”
