Hopefully when we both win in week 16 we can point back to week 6 when we both traded for Thomas.

Two days removed from the Jets cutting Bell loose, he considered a handful of teams before linking up with the defending Super Bowl champs. While the move isn't official just yet, pending COVID-19 protocol, he'll vie for reps with rookie Clyde Edwards-Helaire with his new squad whenever he's eligible to play. Per Dan Graziano of ESPN.com, Bell will have to complete five days of testing before he can suit up, all but ruling him out for Monday's game at Buffalo.

Hopefully he gets it all worked out over the bye week.

The Falcons are re-opening their facility, sources said.

Falcons tests have cleared, and players and staff are returning to their facility today, per source. Game on track for Sunday in Minnesota.

Per Dianna Russini, OBJ tested negative for COVID-19 and should be good to go Sunday.

That's good news.

I'd much rather lose Colts-Bengals than Falcons-Vikings if we're going to lose one.

I wonder how bad it has to get before the plug is pulled on a week.

Very good news: Colts owner Jim Irsay says it appears the team's positive tests results this morning were false positives.

Bengals at Colts is on for Sunday, Irsay says.

Colts had one player and three staff members with troubling initial tests, but all four came back as false positives after the rerun, per sources.

Seems strange to have that many false positives.

Just walked in and happened to turn on ESPN interviewing Cam Jordan. Michael Thomas walked in and said he's playing next week.

Reporting with @FieldYates: The Patriots will be canceling their Friday practice after a positive COVID-19 test, per a source. There is also a second test they are awaiting to confirm is a positive.

If the game could not be played Sunday, the NFL would be presented with its toughest scheduling challenge to date. Both teams, the Patriots and Broncos, had their byes last weekend and bye flexibility is gone.

Melvin Gordon is NOT practicing.

Secondary to the Pats covid tests but still interesting.

Gordon sent home with a non covid illness.

Normally, we just refer to that as a hangover. And if you have a hangover after two days, then you really tied one on. If it's just a result of last night's festivities (partying because the team didn't suspend you after you picked up that DUI), the cure is a bacon cheese burger, fries, and one entire Pedialyte.
