its not a major disadvantage, I've done fine on the back end as well...even so you're still at a disadvantage drafting in that position so the consolation prize is high waiver priority

I guess we just look at it differently. Sure the draft is top heavy with talent every year but its just perceived talent. Add in injuries and a top 3 pick could become a bust. 12th man gets 4 top-37 players while the 1st guy gets 4 top-48.

sure its all possible, but it can't be argued that your odds are not higher of getting the elite talent with a high pick....and these were handed out at random. You get higher WW priority to help counter balance that

I don't disagree with that. You're also assuming that your high WW priority will get you a stud. That isn't always the case

I'm not assuming that, but it gives you an increased chance of landing that injury lotto ticket.

This is a top 6 league and the consensus was to eliminate def and a kicker and add s flex.
