There is compromise on abortion for health concerns for the mother, viability of the birth, rape, and other tragic events.

I do not think it should be 100% anyone can just get an abortion, but if the republicans party does not give in some, it will cost them more and more to the point that there is no overcoming an election purely because of this topic.

Christians should be seeking to do what most glorifies God in all things. Abortion is not a God-glorifying action but rather incurs God's wrath and therefore we should do what we can (morally/legally) to stop it, including trying to convince others from doing it and not supporting those things which will increase it, such as making it legal.
