I'm somewhere between 5 and 6...
I want to believe. But I'm taking a couple things into account with that:
1) I'm in Louisiana, and I know Trump's going to carry my state easily. Same thing with frequenting this board, we know it's heavily pro-Trump. Most of my hobbies (firearms, gasoline-powered cars, etc) are all dominated by Trump supporters, even if the websites don't discuss politics openly. So I do understand I'm kinda in a pro-Trump echo chamber
2) I'm very leery of the Democrat/Uniparty machine. I know, realistically it probably isn't as all-powerful as some folks suggest, but 2020 left a real bad taste in my mouth, and the continued anti-Trump rhetoric on every news outlet makes me nervous.
I can't see how anyone would vote Kamala in, but that's not the same as saying I believe Trump will actually be announced the winner.

Election Day marks the final day on which voters can cast a ballot in the 2024 election. But the electoral system for choosing and inaugurating our president extends well beyond November 5. Notably, the Electoral Count Reform Act, enacted in late 2022, updated certain dates and procedures in the electoral vote counting process that will be in effect for the first time in the 2024 election.

3.
A part of me doesn't think they'll let it happen. The push the last couple of days from every angle (celebs, athletes, Dem ground game, etc.) just gives me a shitty feeling.

I just got back from the hardware store getting a brand new 3x5 American flag and replacing my old one.
