re: Invoking the 14th Amendment

Can we quit this crap, the 14th in nowhere near in play.

Trump would have to be convicted of insurrection for it to even be on the table. There is not time for that to occur in the Federal Court system. They have not charged a single January 6th person with insurrection, only Seditious Conspiracy. They are not the same.

I recall the supreme court making a ruling about Tuition forgiveness... yet, the Biden Administration spent another 2 years working around that ruling and basically ignoring it.

That may be the one saving grace (assuming he wins).

Insurrections have guns and stated intentions to take over the country, not protest an election that didn’t count votes, or run through the halls of the capital all Willy Nilly because they were allowed in, invited even.

Anyone who actually believes that was an insurrection instead of running with it because it casts shade on their political opponents is absolutely retarded.

No. They said that only Congress could determine if a candidate was DQd under the 14th. As far as the issues involving his legal matters, they ruled that if he acted "in his official capacity" he had immunity, but the trial court needed to determine if his actions did or did not meet that criterion.
