I got into a facebook argument with a gay guy who said that the GOP is scared to put a woman or black person in power, among other things.
I just clearly stated that Trump has run in 3 elections over a 12 year period and his total votes in each has remained pretty constant. The democratic vote skyrocketed in 2020 when a white, male, career politician was running and comparatively lagged way behind in 2016 when the candidate was a woman and 2024 when he candidate was a mixed race brown woman.
So either it's the democrats that have an issue voting for women/POC or the "crazy conspiracy theories" surrounding election fraud in 2020 are true. Can't have it both ways.
I'm eagerly awaiting his response
