Crazy huh!

I want Trump to win.

Trump won LA by 400,000 votes in LA in 2016 and in 2020. I have zero doubt that DJT will win LA today. Do you?

Our country needs a 3rd party. The elites of the big two need to have the fear of losing their game (and fortune) to those who don't participate in the UniParty.

There's one candidate who actually verbalizes opposition to continuing to use our grandkids' borrowed dollars to fund the starving and maiming of children. Although I disagree with her on probably most everything else, I do on this point, and DJT doesn't need my vote in LA today. I think I shall cast by ballot for Jill Stein today.

Downvote all you want, but if you can, tell me why I shouldn't make my vote count.

I understand how you feel, but in this particular election your vote for Trump can make a difference toward getting him the popular vote win, which will REALLY shut up the democrats...

You think a throwaway vote will do that?

I honestly don't believe there is any helping you! If you are asking this question on a day like today. Vote for whoever you want, but don't cry with the results.

Your vote counts towards the poplular vote which would be nice to win...you are right, our country NEEDS a third party, but its not going to happen...so stop wasting your vote...

Most of us live in states that will go to one candidate or the other regardless of how we vote. So my third party vote is a vote of protest that won't affect the outcome of the election.

I vote third party to protest the system that has given us twenty something trillion dollars in debt, BlackRock buying up half the country, stagnant wages over our lifetime, involvement in foreign wars. The list goes on.

Sure. Enough do it and the two dominant parties will have to shift.

Thats been the plan for years, but people are addicted to R or D, yet there are more independents/non declared than members of either.

What countries are appreciably better because they have viable 3rd parties (or more)?

Who do you envision bettering a shot at this than what is happening now and how? Are you paying attention at all or just looking for it?

You're free to do as you please. I've said before I voted for Ross Perot because I didn't like my other options.

However, after seeing Elon Musk, Tulsi, RFKjr, Ron Paul, and many of the Mises wing of the LP support Trump and will have some specific, meaningful, impact in his administration, how could you not want this?

LP hasn't won jackshit in, well, ever, but getting LP types in DC is an absolute win. We need to recognize what winning should look like.

I think more choices > less choices.

No one on this board seems to like the Republican party, whats wrong with sending them a message?

The only reason to vote for a 3rd party would be if the 3rd party candidate had a shot at 5% of the total popular vote, which would qualify the party for federal funds in the next election.

2016 was the best shot at this and then the Libertarians rolled out Gary Johnson and his countless mistakes on the campaign trail.

No 3rd party candidate in this year's election will come close to 5% of total popular vote and, thus, any vote for a 3rd party, this year, is a wasted vote.
