These are organized political schemes by MoveOn.org types to continue to push a narrative, political thuggery if you will. Protesting to protest. It's no different that what we've been seeing for other things for a year or two.
Stop trying to understand them.
Stop trying to understand them.

I'm more surprised that I haven't heard one media outlet ask the obvious questions: Why are they protesting and what do they think they will accomplish? Seems like that would be Journalism 101.

Why are they protesting and what do they think they will accomplish?

They are protesting democracy and America.
They're out there chanting "not my president".
We've had to sit and deal with Obama for 8 years. 8 fricking years of economic crisis and division and vitriol and hatred and ignorance and a complete lack of care for the middle class or the majority of normal people in this county of any race or gender who wake up, go to work, come home and feed their families
Not once did a group of conservative Republicans riot in the streets on multiple cities across the country, threatening Obamas life, call for blood in the streets, burn effigy of Obama, and call for an end to the system of government America was founded on.
You know what sad? The left wing psychotic progressive driven army of this country has been rioting for one reason or another since Obama took office, and yet all you hear in the media is how scared everyone is of Trump and his supporters.
What are you afraid of? You're the ones rioting and shooting and burning cities to the ground.

Do they believe that Trump will decide he doesn't want to be President if they protest enough? It's like protesting an approaching hurricane. It won't change anything.

Journalism died years ago.

That class was replaced with Fear mongering and SJWing 101 unfortunately.
'member when journalists delivered the facts and not their opinions? I do.

I think the goal at this point is to continue the narrative of outrage, even if it is .000008% of the population involved it still makes a point to some people when given such focus by the MEDIA. And yes our friends in the media are still there shilling for the left.

I remember the post-Obama election protests. The suburbs were alive with turmoil.

The protestors are missing the point too.
Trump remembers Reagan and how he handled protests and protestors: basically ignored them.
They will start late today whining about a lack of response from Trump. Trump will stay quiet. Tomorrow they will continue whining about a lack of response and their numbers will begin dwindling.
Trump will remain quiet about the protests, until like the lil children they are, they go home to pout quietly in total and unequivocal defeat.

They're just making things worse. People didn't listen to their protests before, they're not now. They just see them as a hatemongers. This is why Trump was elected. You would think they would have learned by now...

Correct
This manner of civil unrest is not in the tradition of American societal change. On one hand it is chump change. On the other hand it ought to be acknowledged as a manifestation of something deeper among us.
Let it surface, is easier to monitor and contend with. This Administration will not intervene. We have withstood much worse...learn from it and respond lawfully

The little Latina on CNN last night was asked where she was from. She answered upstate New York. Quite suspicious.

They don't go home until told to. Or when the check runs out
There is no way that thousands of people just randomly took to the streets at the same time in major cities across the country with coordination.
Also look at the numbers of people out there compared to BLM protest. How much more violent and destructive was BLM protest? This is more like the Occupiers.

just enough for the media to use and blow it up to make un-eds think its 75% of the country.

Who here are you suggesting is "missing the point"? It seems pretty fricking abundantly clear to everyone.

For the past several years, SJW's went into hysterical fits of rage while weak-kneed bureaucrats caved into their ridiculous demands to avoid being called a racist or a sexist. Consequently these little snowflakes think they can throw a tantrum anytime they dont get their way.

I agree. These protest are organized and purposeful.
I understand protesting the election if you think its rigged - ie, 56 precincts and 0 ballots cast for a candidate - that fishy but possible. However, to protests and riot simply because you don't like the results is a danger to this Republic.
A friend told me this last night, "I'm as tolerate as any man, but after 8 of being told I'm the problem; I'm ready to be the problem."
Those are dangerous words when the middle class tax payer starts to express those views outside anonymity.
