Watching Election results Reminded me of "Searching for Bobby Fischer"

Movie about a regular kid who happens to be a chess phenom.

SPOILERS


Long story short, at the end match with the other phenom he loses his queen early and people think all hope is lost.

Well they continue to play on but his team has lost hope except for his buddy from the park played by Lawrence Fishburn. All of a sudden Josh captures the other kids queen and Fishburn shouts, "THERE IT IS!!" And the tide turned until he eventually won.
