It is truly amazing how fearful people were of the repercussions associated with openly supporting Trump.

People attacked at rallies, businesses damaged, etc., these resulted in creating a massive underground group of voters who clearly lied to pollsters and the media, thus skewing their results.

Democrats, you are at fault for this. You made supporting Trump a social sin.

The brutality and violence of the Democrats in this election helped Trump FAR more than they realize.

I wonder how this will affect future elections.

My family were among the silent supporters, well outside of this forum.

I felt very reluctant to tell my friends who I was voting for at first, and I still feel intimidated by showing support for Trump in public on my campus.

Not anymore though! I get to bask in the glory of liberal tears!

I'm amazed at the number of people that I have encountered today that are genuinely excited about the election. It's overwhelming, people that didn't mention politics, didn't outwardly support Trump, are not afraid of showing their excitement and support now.

No one at my hospital will openly state that they support him because of the negative stigma and the heavily vocal Democrats who work there as well.

I work in a heavily red state, but medicine is a pretty mixed profession.

Anyone willing to give up a friendship over a political opinion is a fool.

This election will be studied for decades if not centuries. Just the amount of bullshite and propaganda spread by both sides, ive neven seen anything like this. We live in a time where anyone can jump on the internet, make a bullshite statement, and it can spread to millions within days.

Check Twitter today. The left refuses to separate a vote for economical reasons from a vote for hate.

They won't entertain the discussion. They think this is a rejection of social issues when the reality is people just don't care about social issues. We don't hate minorities or gays, we just don't care when we're dealing with stagnant wages and absurd health care.

Disagree, anyone that supports the Democratic Party is clearly lost and no one I want to be around

I hadn't voted for president since GW Bush in 2000. I did not support Trump. But, I voted yesterday for Trump just to piss off liberal fascists.

This does seem to be the case to a large extent

Very unclear how this kind of thing can be fixed

The bullyish types of the left will not get any less shrill, in fact the opposite will probably happen

Dumb, unless they're in your face about it. Arguably my best friend is a Dem. We discuss politics here and there and I think we're better for it. I've softened in social areas and he's softened on entitlements as a result.

when i looked at the very early results in Florida, i said to my staff at that time that there are far more people supporting Trump than what's being reported... lots of people who either didn't say one way or the other, or they said they weren't voting for him and then did exactly that....

either way, he won.... it's time to back the presidency, even if you find it hard to back the person...

Hillary supporters, stop crying... Trump supporters, stop gloating... time to come together to fix, if possible, the problems that face America today...

I refuse to put a sticker on my car or a sign out in my yard because I KNOW my property will be damaged by a democrat. Democrats violently attack republicans and call them racist bigots just because they disagree with them. Dems can suppress peoples open support but they cannot suppress who people support.

True yet sad story: we didn't put out our trump signs until Monday night due to fear of someone harming our home or worse, our family.

When it was clear he was going to win last night my husband walked outside in the pouring rain to get the signs. I don't need to say why. That's pathetic.

This is what I'm referring to.

How the hell did the Democrats get this bad?

It's simple to me. I vited Trump not because I think he's going to be the greatest president of all time. I voted because I truly believe that she would have fundamentally transformed the US with Supreme Court picks. And Obamacare

I think it's a two way street depending on your area. Put up a Hillary sign in Livingston Parish and see how long it lasts.
