quote:That's the million-dollar question. The same thing happened to her in 2008. She was going to be President and at the last minute, they gave it to Obama.
So, when did the elites change thier minds and what do you think precipitated it?
I don't know why. I'm glad, but I don't know why.
I want to believe it's because the American people were so overwhelmingly angry at her, at the establishment, that they decided they'd better give us our way this time or we would revolt.
They know that the only way they win is if we keep playing the game.
But I don't believe for one minute that Donald Trump is anti-establishment. The media doesn't give billions in free advertisement to anti-establishment candidates. Ron Paul is a good example of that.
People are celebrating some sort of victory. Unfortunately, nothing is going to change because Trump is as establishment as Hillary.
At some point I hope America wakes up to the realization that the establishment gets its way, whether by the Republican candidate or the Democratic candidate.
When nothing changes under Trump, maybe that happens.

I'll be real man. You probably have more credibility on this board that at any other time. shite you've been telling us for years has been proven to be true.

I haven't seen Trump fail since he started this...it won't start now. You give out a lot of negativity.

perhaps all of you will complete your awakening.
The awakening happened last night.

TxTiger is the opposite of negative. He's an eternal optimist. He's just highly skeptical.

The names of the "Winners and losers" will change with each successive change in administration. TRUMP is appealing because the "winners" will not be either of the typical cast of characters that usually share power successively.
There is no CABAL. People make assessments, back candidates, fight for votes (it's a gamble). Trumps backers were fewer and less well connected than most. That gives me HOPE for some real CHANGE.
SWIDT?

I couldn't have been more opposed (to either candidate).

Yeah he was in his jock a lot.
So does trump become the puppet now?

Now, Republicans are the majority in D.C. There are no excuses. When nothing changes - no wall, no immigration reform, no reversal of Obamacare, continued war for profit, etc.; when nothing changes, perhaps all of you will complete your awakening.
This is a welcomed opportunity. No way to obfuscate. Either something happens or not.

I believed those in power wanted Hillary as President.
They did. Do you now think otherwise?
What if it was just the opposite?

Usually, the major parties gobble up "outside" candidates in exchange for their backing and help in winning.
In my estimation, TRUMP gobbled up the Republican party, as evidenced by the defection of the many old guard establishment players from his campaign. I hope I am right and he is able to hold on to his principles when dealing with the Congress. There is hope my friend.

But I don't believe for one minute that Donald Trump is anti-establishment.
Trump is as establishment as Hillary.
Your paranoia knows no limit.

That's the great thing about TX. The ACTUAL conspiracy gets exposed, and he's gotta be convinced that it's nothing but window dressing to the REAL REAL one.
If you have a different view, please explain.

NOBODY is that smart. And follow the money. Look how much Hillary raised versus TRUMP.
HE WAS NOT THE ESTABLISHMNET CHOICE. PERIOD.
Now, will he sell out, that is a vlid question.

I desperately want to believe that Trump won this because the people mandated it. But I've seen too much and experienced too much to know better.
I hope, for my children's sake, that we are both wrong again.
And I'll be the first to buy you an adult beverage or three to celebrate.
