I am just sorry you didn't vote at all, I know my state had a few important amendments on the ballot. I completely agree on the not being able to vote for either of the prime candidates though.

This country will say divided because the majority still don't see the minority as equal.

There will be no conversations

This country will still be just as divided 4 years from now

Well said. My party needs to earn the black vote; not take it for granted.

Hillary is racist. Assumes black people to be lesser educated and thinks they're incapable of talking real politics. Subtlely "talked down" to them throughout her campaign. You and Tbird, among others, were on top of her bullshite the whole time.

Wait, she didnt appeal to you and yours when she said she is FOR raising the minimum wage?!? You mean to tell me you dont want to work for $14/hour?

Thats how the dems thought they could buy your vote...a phone, some shitty health care, and a little pay raise at McDonalds....

They are the most racist, pandering, plantation owners of all.

Good for you sir.

Agree with the OP and thought the pandering to AA's through Beyonce and other black celebrities was a big mistake. Instead she should have offered more substance.

It came off as disingenuous and presumptuous that AA's would turn out for her because of celebrity influence.

IMO, that strategy backfired.

Also, too focused on social justice matters and less substantive effort in other areas of policy matters that the voting public felt were important.

People are TIRED of the corrupt system. Simple as that. Donald is the change we need. The media propaganda machine tried SO HARD to keep the status quo but the people rose above.

I appreciate your service to our country and your concerns.

However, the problems of the inner city aren't going to be solved by Donald Trump.

Only the Democrats care about the plight of black Americans.

I think that sitting the election out, in your case, was an honorable thing to do (though it is a vote for Trump, in a way).

Good for you man!

Reading the Podesta emails only showed me how the dems treat the black community and their votes like cattle that need to be shepherded.

even having Jay-Z give a free concert

Could you imagine the media reaction if Trump would've held a concert like this with an artist who's lyrics are full of foul language and references to drugs, sex, and violence?

So if president elect Trump turns out to be corrupt, will your opinion of him change?

His inviting the Russians to hack the DNC to help him win the election wasn't exactly a good sign of things to come.

I'm guessing she didn't think she had to do anything to earn your vote. It's one of the mistakes politicians make.

She really didn't TRY to get anyone's vote. It was an extremely low effort, lazy campaign. She felt entitled to it.

So you are commenting on an election you didn't even participate in ...hilarious

Instead of trying to present policies and stances that will work, all she tried to do was pander. From here comments about fried chicken and hot sauce to calling black men predators. Then rolling out Lebron and JR Smith out at rallies and even having Jay-Z give a free concert.

Can you tell me any of Trumps policies? Never mind, you didn't vote for him anyway, so why would you care. No different than getting an endorsement from Tom Brady, Mike Ditka, Rex Ryan, Belichick, Dana White and 99% of NASCAR

My black friends are freaking the frick out on Facebook. I don't understand. They are talking about lynchings and the KKK coming back. My son is a freshman in hs. He was showing me tweets where kids were saying their parents telling them that trump was going to put them on a boat and send them back to Africa. I am at a total loss at the fear mongering in th AA community
