They are prepping for another peaceful protest.

It's all about the conversation

They're preparing for all those rightwing white supremacist terrorists that I've been told are the cause to all the problems in this country.

Look...riots are only a problem when they are directed at the people that actually cause the nation's woe's.
You are totally allowed to burn down your own city.

Are they prepping because they know the cops will be exonerated and did nothing wrong?

Are community volunteers doing the prepping? Because the good leaders of Minneapolis wanted to disband the police department. Oh....wait, that went out the window when those slimy cocksuckers got death threats and decided they needed personal police details.
Oh....wait, crime shot up after all that bullshite and now those slimy cocksuckers have backtracked even harder and are actually hiring MORE police officers. Funny what a little pressure from the tax paying, voting public in your area can do. Unfortunately, no one was tarred and feathered over this horseshite.

Protest = OK and a good thing for democracy
Violent Riots = A felony and the police should be busting heads and making mass arrests. Standing behind a fence and letting these fools destroy businesses is the government not doing their jobs. bullshite.

I think you're misunderstanding what happens a lot of times in places like that. The police are told to stand down. And even in places where they intervene and make arrests, the state prosecutors aren't pushing for charges and are letting these idiots go freely.
It's not the police force's fault usually.

don’t worry the Biden administration will just force down another COVID-19 relief bill to clean up the mess created by their own.

Reading comprehension.
I never blamed the police. I agree with what you are saying.
I said "the government" isn't doing their job. Meaning the politicians, the elected DA and the appointed Police Chief. I think there is little doubt that the Rank and File police officers, the ones getting spit on and having things thrown at them, would like nothing better than to go Cave Man on these people.

My bad. I must have read this wrong:

Police = "the government" too.
Maybe you should state your case more clearly.
