Are all the party reality shows a big farce?

SO and I are having this discussion. I love me some trashy reality, but all of the party shows (Jersey Shore, Summer House, Party Down South, etc) are way too unrealistic to be real imo.
People get blackout drunk (drinks, shots, funnels) but never have hangovers. On top of the massive amounts of alcohol, they also eat like trash yet all are ripped and in the best shape of their lives. What gives? It has to be a big farce.

They film everything, but only 30 minutes or 1 hour is shown...this is not a new phenomenon.

They literally do nothing but eat, drink, workout, and party for months. You can eat whatever you want as long as you’re burning calories

They heavily edit and overlay dialogue to create a compelling element in drama
You could go and have a super peaceful 2 month vacation and be best friends with everyone on the show, and when it airs they will cut up as much footage as they need to have you screaming at each other and a huge dramatic fight.
They also intentionally cast people who are instigators or dumb enough to say dumb shite in their personal interviews to ensure there’s plenty of stuff for them to use

Useually these things take place over maybe 3-4 weeks. They make it look like months but it really isnt.

I know a guy who was on party down south. Huge douche and yes it’s all fake.
They can’t show on tv the real parties down here. Too much illegal stuff
