Not only that, but he said he loses weight as the year goes on, so this is really about being at ideal weight at season’s end

I guess you are talking about yourself Clueless Buckeye. I think Joe is a good QB, not great. I have seen nothing at OSU or LSU that indicates hes going to drop back in the pocket and deliver the ball downfield 40 times a game and be successful. His ability to do both is mission critical. Bet you never took a snap at QB. Probably never played a down of FB.

That’s fine. If he’s really 216 now as he’s listed he can easily get to 230 adding good weight. He should focus on his lower body and core muscles more than upper body.

I'ts not strength they lack, it's quickness at the tackle position

Strength is not the only thing you gain in the gym. LSU’s gym does have a speed lab

So they want him stronger but not losing speed. Like every other player on the team.

Burrow needs to be a run threat on the zone read... which he is... he also needs to be able to get a first down on third and 3 or 4 like Tebow did over and over.

They will also run a few portion plays with the pitch out wide

He might be juicing, but there is nothing about the physique in this picture you have inserted that ismt attainable naturally. That's a normal 210 to 225lb dude with low body fat that exercises.
